Great place to train! Very practical approach to self defense. And very family oriented.
I have been going there for years and years and have never had one complaint about it. It is great for the family or anyone. I really recommend coming it helped me with my behavior.

A 3rd year student, retired military guy, I've been blessed by the personal camaraderie as well as by the top of the line training and mentoring provided here. We work hard but safety is always emphasized. We students learn pretty quickly that we matter as people, not just account numbers.
Very happy with their program for my son. Even in the first month of classes I saw an improvement in respect and listening at home. The classes are very well organized, fun, and life lessons taught. He is also being taught how to defend himself and I can tell he feels more empowered by this. The teachers are professional and the classes are run with structure which is very impressive since my son is in the 5-6 year old class.
I'm just a 3rd year student but I can't imagine a more knowledgeable and professional group of managers and instructors. On top of all the top-of-the-line instruction and mentoring we students get, we're truly cared about. A wonderful place to be and to learn.

Metro Krav Maga and Kickboxing in Collinsville has been a fantastic experience from the start. All of the instructors are wonderful teachers, and there is a variety of personalities to help you get different perspectives on the various tactics. The overwhelming positive energy is contagious, the family atmosphere is refreshing, and they motivate me to train hard every time I go to class. I would highly recommend this as a place to train for self defense and Krav Maga, and I am so very happy to be training here with my family.
Both of my children have been attending Metro Krav Mega for 3 years. In this time I have seen their confidence level sore and they have learned many skills to protect themselves in this unpredictable world. My oldest son is 14 and in the Adult class. He is pushed hard but thrives from his learning. My youngest just turned 10 and is in Black Belt boot camp. He is running 2 miles and is learning so many skills which builds his confidence in himself. I definitely would recommend this venue. The teachers care about the students and want them to do their best. They push them to find inner strength they never knew they had and it is amazing to see how my children have grown.
I took a self-defense class here recently as I will be leaving the country soon. During the one session that I had, I felt I gained a lot from it. The atmosphere of the place is very welcoming as well. My instructor was extremely respectful and answered any questions I had. I highly recommend them.

My Autistic son doesn’t care for many. But he loves them all there. Sensi D is by far his favorite instructor. But they are all great working with him. Very knowledgeable, and understanding but also know when he’s just not wanting to do something. My sons been going now since August that’s why I waited to see how it was more before leaving a comment.
His teachers, therapist all say he has been growing so much since attending.
This place has changed both of my kids lives. My son has suffered with severe anxiety since kindergarten. He starts Krav Maga here in first grade and has become a strong confident kid. metro Krav Maga has shaped my kids mental as well as physically into kids who are ready to take on anything. The staff and owners are very knowledgeable and enjoy the what they do and it shows. Signing my kids up for Krav Maga has been such a blessing for my family.
Annie Whitaker is the gym manager, one of our main instructors for our children’s and youth programs, and the daughter of the owners. She 1st Degree Black Belt and is one of the few females to have earned her instructor credentials from the Wingate Institute in Netanya Israel. In addition to martial arts, Annie is a competitive powerlifter, and is currently enrolled in school to get her BS in exercise science. Annie LOVES helping children succeed!!!!
